Sound In The Signals - Issue Of The Month (October 2014)
It's time for another issue of the month when I pick one issue of the
current month from any current running comic series to highlight. This
month I decided to pick Wayward issue three.
This is the third issue of the series and the story is really starting to come together. I really enjoy the artwork and the storyline is developing nicely. I'm a big fan of some of the characters and think the lead character in the story is really interesting. It's a bit of a fish out of water story in a few areas and I think that vibe adds a lot to the comic. There are still a lot of questions about what is going on, but that's not uncommon with a new series of this nature. You do get some good answers, more questions, and some interesting character developments in this issue. This is definitely on my short list of favorite new series right now. This issue isn't a good jumping on point. With this series you really need to start at issue 1.
