Titan Comics Creating Original "Robotech" Comics

Titan Comics is excited to announce that they secured the license to create original Robotech Comics. The publisher will bring the iconic 80's science-fiction anime to comics. Robotech first aired in the USA in 1985. It captured audiences with the epic generational storylines involving war, romance, and the transforming Veritech fighters. The original 85-episode series explored humanity's struggle against alien invasions.

Direct Sales & Marketing Manager Ricky Claydon said, "at Titan we're thrilled to be publishing brand new Robotech comic books. It's a privilege to contribute to the rich galactic tapestry of such a beloved franchise. Titan Comics promises to delight original fans and newcomers alike."

Tommy Yune, President of Animation at Harmony Gold USA added, “Inspired storytelling is a cornerstone of the Robotech universe and we’re absolutely thrilled to have a partner with a respected editorial pedigree as Titan.”

Titan Comics' Robotech is set to debut in early 2017.
