Mike and Brad hosted a podcast from the studio where they discussed Linkin Park's upcoming album. In it they answer some questions from fans. They discussed the biggest challenge that they faced so far, but joked that it was finding time to record the podcast. They shared that their process has been different this time which led them to experimentation and failure but also to inspiration and an interesting path. They also discussed what their favorite part of their process has been this time and what sticks out to them about this album. They discussed the studio and the gear that they are using. They suggested that they might make a playlist in the future that might be representative of the album or of songs that might have inspired them. They said the songwriters who are collaborating on the album also influence them. They say they've gone in different directions on their past albums and even different sounds on the same album and when asked if this album sounds like anything else they've done, they said "I'd say pretty firmly, no". They are still in the process of naming the album and are questioning what the theme of the album will be once it's completed. They finished by explaining what they do in the studio, if they have any down time while recording, and being competitive in mobile games.
