The Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick plan to release new album, ‘The Iliad and the Odyssey and the Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick’ on April 25th via Count Your Lucky Stars. Today we are excited to premiere new song “Tightrope Walker / Stranger, in These Dark Times”.

When describing the song Hanno said, “this is one of the two songs I wrote for this album, and the one I’m most excited about. I know Ben had mentioned that it’s like two songs put together, but to me it really is one full feeling — the tightness in your chest of being observed in a difficult time, and the unavoidable free-fall of steamrolling your way through. There have been periods in my life where immersing myself in a certain song was the only time I felt really seen. This song means a lot to me and I hope our listeners connect with it, but more specifically I hope it can help someone else feel seen too”. Check it out below and preorder the album here.
