My Body - New Song "Blowout"

Portland-based duo My Body (Jordan Bagnall and Darren Bridenbeck) create catchy electronic pop. They recently released new song "Blowout" which is off their upcoming EP, Seven Wives, which is due out in January 2017 via Bug hunt Records. Seven Wives was inspired by their time living in Brooklyn and Steven Milhauser's short story, Thirteen Wives. The short story also influenced their last EP, Six Wives and it weaves the EPs together. Jordan Bagnall said "when we lived in Brooklyn we felt so claustrophobic and strangled by our small apartment, the weather, the noise, people. It was like I was losing nerve connections to my limbs and all I could center myself on was the man I loved and writing songs for him that he would like". Listen to "Blowout" below. They will be playing an upcoming show with Phantogram on December 8th at Portland's Crystal Ballroom.
