Donald Glover - To Star As Young Lando Calrissian In Han Solo Star Wars Film

Lucasfilm announced that Donald Glover will star as young Lando Calrissian in the upcoming, still-untitled Han Solo Star Wars film. Alden Ehrenreich has already been cast as young Han Solo. "This new film depicts Lando in his formative years as a scoundrel on the rise in the galaxy’s underworld — years before the events involving Han, Leia, and Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back and his rise to Rebel hero in Return of the Jedi." The film is set to be released in 2018. Until then, you can see Glover in his critically acclaimed FX series, Atlanta and in the upcoming film, Spider-Man: Homecoming.
