Pop music's breakout of the year, artist/producer duo The Chainsmokers, have hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with song "Closer" featuring Halsey. It's also #1 on iTunes' Top Songs chart and #1 on Spotify U.S. this week. They have been nominated for two Billboard Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards, and an MTV Video Music Award.
