It's time for another issue of the month when I pick one issue of from any current running comic series to highlight. For September 2015 I decided to pick Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Casey & April issue 4 . Read the full feature after the jump.


 These micro-series are always really fun. Casey & April wasn't always as exciting or high octane throughout it's four issues as the previous micro-series about Mutanimals, but it had some really high moments and it offers some neat insight into upcoming events in the IDW TMNT universe. It's also important to the turtles characters to deal with their ever evolving relationships. This micro-series dealt with some of that for the couple. I thought this issue ended the series out with a bang and even offered some really interesting foreshadowing. I dug the artwork a lot for the entire series. For a short four issue story this wrapped up everything nicely and has me looking forward to how Casey & April will progress with their story in upcoming TMNT issues. Check it out!
